PLAZA CUTLERY 2011 IN-STORE SHOW

DANIEL WINKLER Dan, and Karen Shook are long time friends of Pam, and I. At shows we both attend we can be found along with Bruce, and Debbie Voyles hanging out together. Dan is a Master Smith in the ABS, and a long time instructor. He has helped to start many knife makers over the years, and was very active in the ABS. Karen makes the sheaths, and has taken the art to such a high level not many have been able to keep up with her. All of Dan's knives are 1800's woodsman style knives, and each comes with Karen's custom made sheath for that knife. Each sheath is styled to go with that knife so no two are the same. At this time Dan is no longer taking orders so his knives have become harder to get. He is producing a semi custom knife with his Winkler II line which we also currently try and keep in stock. They have been very popular. We will have a few customs from time to time. You can also see Dan, and Karens work in the movie "Last of the Mohicans".
