Gray Taylor One of the best knifemakers at historical multi-blade dress knives in his versions and reproductions! Gray does a lot of "lobster patterns" with multi blades. This is what appeared to be a very simple knife but turned into a challenge. The knife is very thin and the back spring is curved in order to follow the pattern of the handle made it very unique project. Most likely not everyone but other knifemakers will recognize the sever challenge in it and I like giving Gray something to have to figure out! Keeps him out of Evelyn's kitchen! Each knife will be little different and we will have 3 more before moving on to the next project! The carving is done by Gray and is all free hand and very time consuming. In reality the white pearls should be more then the black pearl. This is a great opportunity to get a knife form Gray as he is retired and will not be making as many knives and no longer takes orders!
