| Notes:
This is a small gentleman's fruit knife. It is Gray's version of an original
he has form the late 1800's. Very elegant and light weight at just under an
ounce! This is what appeared to be a very simple knife but turned into a
challenge. The knife is very thin and the back spring is curved in order to
follow the pattern of the handle made it very unique project. Most likely
not everyone but other knifemaker will recognize the sever challenge. The
tortoise is from a old comb and the liners are 14 gold liners and so is the
bolster and pins. The same design is on both sides! Very
great looking knife!
The blade has a half stop and a full
snap when opened all the way. It is thin at 3/16" so is very thin and easy
to carry. Actually a very had knife to make as it is so thin but nobody
better then Gray to give it a try and have it come out so super!
