Keith Ouye

I have known Keith for a long time. He has always said he was going to make knives when he retired and I hear this a lot. Well Keith is one of the few to follow through and do so. He has a great teacher in Stan Fujisaka and Ken Onion has influenced his knife designs. Stan is his mentor however! He has always been pretty up beat and leaves with you with a smile on your face. I was very happy to see was doing well at Blade. He has some nice designs and and some new ideas. These are the first two knives I have received from him and he does make a smaller one we will receive when they are ready! I look forward to his evolution as a knifemaker! I know he will have a great time!
