Moulton Dusty has been a full time knifemaker since the early 90's. He has always enjoyed making hunters and fighters and has decided to concentrate on upscale models of both. He uses very basic equipment, belt sander, disc sander, drill press, buffer and band saw. Many other makers use mills and other equipment but Dusty prefers to do everything with his hands. The few makers that do this feel they are giving the customer part of them selves and not just a knife. Dusty is also been willing to change and learn more more and I have watched him progress over the years. He now does carving and is doing an excellent job of engraving. his knives a very personal and when you add one to your collection or give one as a gift it sure to bring a quick smile!
Also each blade is CPM154CM which is the new version of 154CM developed by "Crucible Steel" just for Knifemakers. Dusty is one of the first knifemakers to use this new steel which is much cleaner and takes a more refined finish then ATS-34 or 154CM!
