The knife is a full auto or can be worked as a regular liner lock so it is dual opening! Jim did the engraving and it is really clean and well done. One of the best of his I have ever seen. I am 99% sure the blade is stainless damascus but I have no way of verifying it. Nice engraving on the back of the blade and the back spacers which would be file work on other knives. I am not sure what the stone is but assume it is a garnet as it is not a deep red. Great looking knife but only available to states where auto's are legal. Autos are legal in California if under two inches so this is fine in California!
