PLAZA CUTLERY 2011 IN-STORE SHOW

Bret Dowell I meet Bret at the "Sprit of Steel Show" in Dallas. He has been making knives for a number of years now and has really shown he has a lot of talent but will stay a part time maker. This is were many of you will envy this guy. He is a government tracker and gets paid to hunt. Dream job for many!!! Bret has sold knives to many hunters so his knives are field tested and always working sharp. John Young was first to discover him and then called me over at the Dallas show, we have worked together ever since. I felt he had the potential to be a good maker but I think he can go beyond that. He is collecting Tony and Reese Bose knives and is heading in that direction so it will be interesting to see how he develops.
