Notes: This is the first knife in the beginning of the "Dog Paw Shield" series of knives Exclusive to Plaza Cutlery. Each knife has an exclusive shield with a dog paw track and etched paw prints down the main blade. Those of us with dogs recognize this as something that happens when the dog comes in from outside when it is wet. The knives are made in the USA by Great Easter Cutlery and this one has the "Northfield" tang stamp. The bolster is nickel silver and the liners are brass with brass handle pins. The bolster also has two decorative lines to add a little character. In addition each blade has a half stop all have great stag as well as centered blades. A first class knife reminiscent of a old Case 5248 with California Clip. All the stag is good and some are wide, some narrow and a couple older looking but really good looking! If you have a preference please let us know. As these knives are the very first we did number 00 to 25. Lastly each knife comes packaged in a tube with the "Dog Paw Knives" label and the model number and release date "Summer 2010". On the back is the dog paw story. Also as this is the first one we are numbering them 00 to 25. We hope you enjoy these knives with your best friend and we thank our inspiration "Casca" for the knives each day!
